Back Pain
If your low back pain started as a nagging ache and has lasted more than a week — maybe letting up temporarily and then coming back, or continually aching, it’s time to come in for a consultation.
Low back pain is often caused by injuries or strains, and there’s no magic cure. It simply takes time for your back to heal. But treatment will make you more comfortable as you and help the healing to occur.
What do we do?
Chiropractic treatment is based on the concept that restricted movement in the spine may lead to pain and reduced function. Spinal adjustment (manipulation) is one form of therapy chiropractors use to treat restricted spinal mobility. The goal is to restore spinal movement and, as a result, improve function and decrease back pain.
I use various techniques depending on what your specific condition requires; from an adjustment, to stretching, to recommended exercises.
The key role I play is in getting you out of pain and helping the healing to occur while at the same time creating a maintenance program to prevent further harm and pain.
